Easy Powder Room Facelift

Here’s a few quick and easy ways to add life to your powder room / guest bathroom:

1.) Change out the standard sink vanity for a decorative, free-standing vanity that functions more as a piece of furniture than a utilitarian built-in. These do not require major plumbing work to install, and if you have a pedestal sink that you’re replacing, they’re even easier!
2. Get creative with the walls… You have a great number of creative options since you don’t have to worry about a shower and moisture in these small rooms… Consider wall paper, faux finishing, painting stripes, or making the sink wall an accent wall, such as tiling up one wall only from floor to ceiling.
3. Add a decorative mirror over the vanity, or at least add decorative framing around the mirror already attached to the wall.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. I think your overall ideas are fine but you might want to put a little more thought into your next posts. I say this becuase it seems like your writing style has gone downhill a bit as opposed to your previous posts. – C.
Hi Charlotte,
All feedback and advice is a good thing and I appreciate it… especially since I’m new at this!
All the best,

PS… I’ve have some blogs that I subscribe to that are short and sweet including great photos, and much easier to quickly read in the mornings over coffee. If possible, I’d love to hear your feedback on length of blog posts. Thanks again! Ragan
You blog entry surely was one of the high points of my Saturday. I was on MSN searching for something totally unrelated when the blog caught my attention. I’m glad I took the time to read your blog! Feel free to comment on my blog at The Tweet Tank Review!
